Year 4 TTW

We have 28 children in 4TW and these children are taught by Mrs Thomas- Williams and Mrs Wharton. Our class loves painting, music lessons on Mondays, PE on Thursdays, and reading every day!
Staff base their planning on the “I” and “WE” ASPIRE curriculum which takes into account the children’s interests, too. This academic year, children will be covering the following units of learning:
Autumn 1 – Stone Age, Bronze Age, Iron Age, Narrative writing, Numbers and Number Systems, Counting and Comparing, PSHE, The Rule of Law
Autumn 2 – Romans, Vikings, Living Things and their Habitats, Narrative writing, Time and Money, Investigating Properties of Shapes, PSHE, Power and Democracy
Spring 1 –.Narnia, Sound, Narrative writing, Art through music and watercolour, Addition, Subtraction, division, Fraction and Decimals, PSHE, Risk
Spring 2 – Narnia, Sound, Narrative writing, Art through music and watercolour, Fraction and Decimals, PSHE, Living in the Wider World
Summer 1 – PSHE, Health and Well-Being, Science: electricity
Summer 2 – PSHE, Relationships and Diversity Science Human body.
